VINS DE PAYS D'OC
The Vins de pays d'Oc are produced in Languedoc Roussillon (Sud de France) on 4 departments along the Mediterraneean Sea: Pyrénées Orientales, Aude, Hérault, Gard. Since 1987, the Vins de Pays d'Oc take up the challenges of modern and global markets. Thanks to the qualitative adaptation of their production tools and their vineyard: they are the French reference of varietal wines. Their blending are creative. Packaging are innovative and correspond to new tendencies of taste and « art de vivre ».
Mens and grapes Nearly 1500 producers represent strengths of the trade union of producers of Vin de Pays d’Oc. Particular wineries, cooperative wineries and wine merchants with their know-how passionately defend the colors of Vins de Pays d'Oc. The vineyard of Vins de Pays d’Oc is one of the most important vineyards of the world. It offers 32 grapes Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Syrah, Cinsault… for red and rosés wines.
Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Viognier, Vermentino… for white wines. Each grape expresses itself on aromatic notes dense and complex, reflecting contrasts and diversity of the Terroir Sud de France. Mountains, coast, slopes... allow the declension of a lot of flavours. The Vins de pays d’Oc have always adapted their offer in a context of strong changing of global markets. They have an undisputed position of leader: wines of quality adapted to the consumers’ taste.

LES AUTRES VINS DE PAYS DU LANGUEDOC ROUSSILLON The comitee of Vins de Pays Languedoc Roussillon includes producers and wine merchant Vins de Pays of our territory, which represant nearly 4 millions of approved hl. In department, vins de pays de l’Aude, du Gard, de l’Hérault and des Pyrénées Orientales. These wines have to come exclusively from the department which they are named,
In little region, there are more than 50 appellations. These wines have to come from a territory strictly defined (by decree) which can be more or less extensive. Some of vins de pays cover restricted territories which can be a village, a valley or a locality.
Finally, all the Vin de Pays can revendicate a name of grape (example: Chardonnay; Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Terret, Grenache, Cinsault, Marselan…), and in this case, have to be issued at 100% of the grapes claimed. Each Vin de Pays is a meeting
